Rebeca Morey Pérez (Mallorca, Spain) is a visual artist graduated in Fine Arts from ADEMA University School – University of Mallorca. Her artistic practice focuses on the investigation of corporeality through matter, exploring the relationships between body, object, and space, as well as the physical and symbolic tensions that permeate our way of inhabiting the body.

Her work stems from an approach to the female body linked to personal experience, taboos, and aesthetic canons. From an initially figurative representation, her research has evolved toward the deconstruction of forms and the exploration of an individual sculptural language. Through materials such as ceramics and metal, she works with tension, deformation, perforation, and contact between elements to generate ambiguous, organic, and visceral forms. The contrast between fragility and material resistance becomes a vehicle to address questions such as social pressure, vulnerability, uncertainty, and the boundaries that condition the individual.

In 2026, she presents Anatoformes at Casal Solleric in Palma, her first solo exhibition and one of the major milestones of her career to date. The exhibition expands upon the research initiated in her Final Degree Project and delves into the deconstruction of the body through sculpture and the dialogue between ceramic and industrial materials.

Her work has been shown in national and international exhibition spaces and artistic contexts, including appearances at Estampa Contemporary Art Fair (Madrid), Art Cologne, the Venice Biennale, Palazzo Bembo, and Cookhouse Gallery (London), among others. In 2026, she was awarded an honorable mention in the XII Felanitx Visual Arts Contest for the work Plecs Fluids. She has also completed an internship at Mounir Fatmi's studio and an artistic collaboration with Joan Costa's studio.

Alongside her artistic practice, she is pursuing a Master's Degree in Professional Development in the Art Sector at ADEMA, and a Master's Degree in Creative Thinking and Strategic Design of Cultural Projects at Es Baluard Museu. Her training and research continue to broaden the horizons of her work and its connection with the contemporary artistic and cultural sphere.
